About
West Coast Iron Works is a dynamic six piece, right out of the ’60s Rock’n'Roll Band. With 6-part vocal harmonies, phenomenal musicianship and the uncanny ability to recreate every style of rock to perfection, West Coast Iron Works shows are ‘Can’t Miss’ events. They are the genuine article, being San Diego’s longest reigning rock band, playing Award Winning ’60s music since 1967. By winning San Diego’s prestigious KGB radio’s Battle of the Bands 2 years in a row, as well as Ozzie’s Music Original Song Contest, the group played repeatedly on The Regis Philbin Show.
Over the years, “Iron Works” members have played with or shared the same bill with such great artists such as Gary Puckett, Elvin Bishop, The Chambers Brothers, Lydia Pense & Cold Blood, Grace Slick, Journey, Buddy Miles, Freddy King, Albert King, Johnny Winter, Edgar Winter, Greg Kihn, Robin Trower, Buddy Guy, Bobby “Blue” Bland, Boz Scaggs, The Neville Brothers, Robert Cray, Taj Mahal, Bobby Womack, Junior Walker and the All Stars, Alvin Lee, The Kingsmen, The Ink Spots, The Drifters, Steve Miller Band, BB King and the list goes on.
West Coast Iron Works knows how to make your dance, reunion, corporate event, wedding or special occasion a success to remember. As regular headliners for Coronado’s 4th of July Concerts in Spreckel’s Park, the Ramona Chamber of Commerce Exquisito estates and set to play the Point Loma Summer Concert series in 2007, they are trusted professionals. With over 200 years combined experience, they’ve transported tens of thousands of smiling, dancing, and singing fans to the musical wonderland of the 60s.
No one can recreate the incredible music of the Beatles, Moody Blues, Buffalo Springfield, Lovin’ Spoonful, Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, Cream, Animals, Doors, early Bee Gees or Jimi Hendrix like this group of California rockers.
