Gary, “The Professor”, survived his childhood accordion concert for his Coronado Kindergarten class, then switched to guitar. Twelve years later he became a founding member of the original West Coast Iron Works. Then, while attending college in Utah and New Mexico, Gary toured with metal rock groups like Angry Young Men, Santa Cruz and NoteWorthy… plus Motown “horn groups” like Sweet Smoke and Stevie Richards & The Other Side. Upon returning to San Diego, Gary reunited with the West Coast Iron Works when the group played for the 1990 Coronado High School “All Class” reunion. Now a college professor, Gary’s many students flock to see the real thing… a genuine 60′s rocker!
