A superb vocalist and multi-instrumentalist (bass guitar, horn, and keyboards), Richie is also an accomplished songwriter, studio musician and piano technician. Over the years, millions have rocked to his robust vocals and solid, melodic bass. Richie’s musical sojourn took him through San Francisco where he played with or opened for groups such as Johnny Winter, Edgar Winter, Greg Kihn, Tommy Tutone, Robin Trower, Elvin Bishop, Nimbus, Island, Giant, The Push, Freddy King, Cold Blood, Chambers Brothers and more. Locally, Rich is not only a founding member of West Coast Iron Works, but also of local rock band legend, The Heroes, and the popular Celtic musical ensemble, Highland Way (http://www.highlandway.us/).
